Shipping Rates
We do not ship outside of the US (except to APO/FPO addresses), sorry. Furthermore, it is a violation of ITAR regulations and US law to export many of the items we sell. DO NOT order from us with the intent of exporting from the USA illegally.
NO international orders.
Due to the most recent increase in Postal Rates, we are now charging a Flat Shipping Rate of $8 on all orders. Compare our prices to our competitors, and I think you will find this is still a bargain!
We ship primarily via US Postal Service 1st Class and Priority Mail, both are shipped with delivery confirmation. Express Mail (overnight in most areas) is available upon request; please contact us before placing an order which requires Express Mail to confirm that we will be able to ship it the same day. UPS Ground is used on larger and heavier orders.
Orders for in-stock items typically ship within 84 hours or less from Taylor, Alabama (36305). Orders placed on holidays or weekends may take longer to ship. Occasionally some items are sent from Grand Prairie, Texas and those items typically will go via UPS Ground unless you request expedited shipping.
Express Mail and "Rush" shipping are available, but please CALL us before placing any order which needs expedited shipping.
Sorry, but we no longer accept PayPal as a form of payment.

General policies:
- It is our policy to charge your card when all items are available to ship and/or are incoming with a known date of receipt which is within a week of the date on which the order was placed. For example, if you order a Mako MD-QR1 on 4/13, and we are out of stock, but have a shipment arriving 4/19, your card will be charged.
- If an item is backordered but was accidentally marked as in-stock, and we do not have a shipment arriving soon, we will try to let you know via email, and then bill you for the rest of the order and ship the available items, then we bill you for the backordered item(s) and ship at no additional cost when they are available. If you don't want to wait for a backordered item, please let us know as soon as you receive the backorder notice! We will only charge you once for S&H ($8); you will not be charged S&H on the backorders which are shipped separately.
- We reserve the right to refuse sale of any item at any time on the basis of law and/or national security.
- We attempt to ship all orders as soon as possible, but due to travel and weekends it will occasionally take longer. If it is absolutely imperative that you receive an item by a certain date, CONTACT US BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER. Otherwise, we can make no promises!
- Order changes must be made within TWELVE (12) HOURS of when your order is placed, by contacting us via email to cs@area51tactical.com with the subject ORDER CHANGE. Any change, including addition or cancellation of the order, is not possible after twelve hours time, as we seek to provide all customers with the fastest possible turnaround time.
RETURN POLICY
- Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Any return must be authorized by us within 14 days of your purchase. Please contact us via email or phone before returning any product, and allow up to 14 business days for processing of your returned item.
- Defective items must be returned within 7 days of receipt for an identical replacement. If a replacement is not available, we will offer you the choice of a similar product of equal or greater value or a refund of your purchase price.
- NO returns more than 21 days from date of purchase.
- Item must be returned before replacement is issued.
- All non-defective items returned are subject to a restocking fee of 15%.
- Items must be returned in new, unused condition with all packaging.
- For legal reasons, items which have been installed or otherwise used CANNOT be returned to Area 51 Products LLC. You must contact the manufacturer of the item if you are unhappy with it after installing it.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Any "floor model" or "display" item is sold strictly as-is and may not be returned.
SALES TAX
Alabama residents will be charged 8% sales tax on all orders. Area 51 Products LLC is located in Taylor, Alabama.
